About Me

Algarve Photographer | My passion for Photography began around the age of 14 in Macau, when I remembered that my father had a camera. I was essentially looking for shapes and patterns that caught my attention. I wasn't concerned with telling a story or portraying events. At that time I took part in some local photography competitions, where I received 2 distinctions that I keep in my treasure chest.

Today, as a professional photographer, I naturally have more knowledge, a different vision and more experience. My tendentially polychromatic camera seeks simplicity, clarity and entropy. I appreciate darkness and black, but I'm not the biggest fan of monochromatic images. However, I don't rule it out from my work when it's appropriate. My main camera is currently a Canon EOS R5C with 45MP. Among other lenses, I use a wide-angle "tilt-shift" Canon TS-E 17mm (and a TS-E 24mm) for Algarve Interior Photography.

I am Portuguese, university-educated, I love what I do and I practise this profession with ethics and commitment. I do not request fictitious quotes from competitors, as I know the value and quality of my work.

If you are looking for a photographer in the Algarve, you have just found one. I travel throughout the country, but usually for larger projects. This is my only profession, I do not work for anyone else, and I carry out this Algarve photography activity full-time.
