Interior Decoration Photography

Finding the perfect balance between tradition and contemporaneity is a subtle art, and this Interior Design project reveals precisely that: a sensory harmony between ancestral textures and Mediterranean light. The whitewashed walls dialogue with rustic beams, while elements such as ancient amphoras, recovered lattice doors and cork-clad pillars evoke the Algarvian architectural identity. The scenic lighting — natural and delicately directed — underlines each composition without dramatising, creating editorial framings that enhance the detail: the handcrafted weaving of the lamps, the emerald reflections of blown glass, the roughness of aged wood. The chromatic palette bets on earthy tones and pure whites, punctuated by green accents that breathe freshness. Photography captures these atmospheres with close angles, privileging the intimacy and materiality of objects. Each room tells its own story — from the modern wood-burning stove under century-old timber to the bathroom where handcrafted baskets merge with golden mosaics. It is a visual record that does not merely document spaces, but tactile experiences and sensory memories, celebrating the unique character of interiors in southern Portugal.
